QQC

"It was while puzzling over these matters that Hutton had a series of exceptional insights. From looking at his own farmland, He could see that soil was created by the erosion of rocks and that particles of this soil were continually washed away and carried off by streams and rives and repositioned elsewhere."

I found this quote to be interesting because it gives us insight on how erosion works. I have many questions as to why our coves are cut. I know that erosion caused the cove to split directly in half. It must of eroded billions of years ago. Or it could be because the junk of land became moist from the rain and then gradually fell apart. Some of the land must have slipped into the ocean and evaporated.

  1. Osamah(Obama)erosion is a very interesting topic. You would learn more about this topic when you have Enviromental Science. I also founds this sentence interesting because I like how he look at his own backyard for insight instead of actually traveling. Must had save him a lot time. LOL
